This blade technology produces high quality splits from many stone types and dimensional forms. This unique system ensures the best use is made of oversize, unsuitable natural stone, be it newly quarried or reclaimed, by sizing it rapidly into valuable faced building material. SNELL Fully floating blade™ The SNELL Fully floating upper blade accommodates level or 'wedge' stone through up to 40 degrees roll with free transverse movement. The blade carrier floats in 'lifetime-lubricated' guides, with very little friction. This system virtually eliminates transverse guide wear and frame loading, whilst maximizing the available split force. These powerful machines produce an exceptional quality output and offer very many years of service in tough conditions. They require 'near zero' maintenance (one greasepoint every 6 months). The machine can be powered by SNELL hydraulic packs or with existing hydraulic power supplies.
